Peter Billington
As the former Managing Director of a specialist telematics design consultancy (24 staff, £1.5m turnover), and now a senior partner in Telematics Technology LLP, Peter has broad experience in the design, development and delivery of traffic monitoring and telematics services, including congestion detection, automatic vehicle location, driver information systems, road to vehicle communications, network communications infrastructure, vehicle tracking applications and traffic control centre systems.
Peter has particular expertise in the design, development and deployment of Automatic Number Plate Recognition systems (ANPR). He has been the technical authority for the two largest ANPR-based journey time measurement systems in the world, those of the UK National Traffic Control Centre and Trafficmaster plc.
Chris Wallett
As the former Managing Director of a GIS company (£1m turnover), and now a senior partner in Telematics Technology LLP, Chris has broad experience in the design, development and delivery of traffic monitoring and telematics services, including congestion detection, automatic vehicle location, driver information systems, off board navigation, vehicle tracking applications, the display of congestion information on GIS systems and traffic control centre systems.
Chris has particular expertise in the design, development and deployment of Automatic Number Plate Recognition systems (ANPR) and the dynamic display of traffic information on web based mapping.
